panforte is a traditional tuscan dessert, made in siena since the middle ages. delicious on its own, panforte also pairs well with meats, cheeses, espresso or dessert wine.

margherita panforte - named in honour of queen margherita, this chewy, dense cake is studded with almonds, candied citron and orange then dusted with powdered sugar. 

nero panforte - the famously rich flavour of black panforte is created with a mixture of nutmeg, cloves and carnation pepper.
