classic panettone

classic panettone handmade by the barbero family using stone ground wheat, calabrian orange skins, vanilla and acacia honey. the sourdough is made using their ‘mother yeast’ which was created over seventy years ago, it is wrapped in cloth and refreshed three times a day as milanese tradition dictates. it takes three days to make one panettone.
