huge swat valley bench
we've had this magnificent antique bench for a long time, it really is quite rare and special.
it once belonged to renowned kilim collector and author Alastair Hull, who bought it on one of his many trips to the Swat Valley in Pakistan... it was the seat of the village chief and his group of elders.
it is 220cm wide and has exquisitely carved panels along the back and at each end measuring 170cm tall. the seat depth and height is approximately 50cm
includes two ticking mattresses (the kuba cloth cushions seen here are not included)
